How to activate daily the 360 energy points on the body

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani | Friday, Nov 07, 2008 | Chicago, IL US

Audhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

Ati` Allah wa ati` ar-rasula wa uli 'l-amri minkum

Allah swt said obey Allah, obey the prophet and obey those who are on authority.

We are happy to be here today for Jumu`ah prayer. Insha-Allah Allah swt will accept from us.

The time is short but whatever we are going to speak, or scholars are speaking or people are speaking or teaching, never teachings end. Never knowledge ends. Every moment Allah inspires people to say something for the benefit of the human race. The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam brought that heavenly message that we cannot except to accept it and to listen to what the prophet said and do as much as we can.

Then they have to raise the volume.

Audhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

As we said, "knowledge never ends.” Dunya ends but knowledge never ends. Knowledge continues to akhira. Dunya does not continue toakhira. Dunya. One day Allah Is going to change this earth to another earth as Allah said in Holy Qur'an.

يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ وَبَرَزُواْ للّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ
Yawma tubaddalu alardu ghayra alardi wa’s-samawaatu wa barazoo lillahi al-waahida ’l-qahhari
One day the earth will be changed to a different earth, and so will be the heavens, and (men) will be marshalled forth, before Allah, the One, the Irresistible;
Ibrahim [14:48]

That dunya is going to end but the ascension of the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam never ends. Don’t think the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam had only one Mi’raj. If we say the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam had only one Mi’raj you are not giving the proper respect to the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. One Mi’raj that we know. But in every moment he was in Mi’raj. Every moment he was receiving revelation from Sayyidina Jibreel and it was Mi’raj. His prayer was Mi’raj. Because he is ascending. In that moment which he said, "The best time for me is when we are between the hands of our Lord.” We pray and whose hands are we between? If we follow correctly then of course we know whose hands we will be in between. But if there is a struggle, there is a struggle we cannot say, "no we are perfect.”

فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا

Fa-alhamaha fujooraha wa taqwaaha - And its enlightenment as to its wrong and its right. Shams 91:8

Allah… the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam is being given by Allah and the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam is struggling also. He is messenger for humanity and yet he was struggling. Otherwise why didn’t he say “believer” and everyone believe. No it was an example for us to struggle for it you get something. Like in normal life in business if you struggle for it you get something good. So for akhira if you struggle for it you get something good.

So Allah gave to the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam that high level, something special to him not for everyone. That is for the prophet only. He gave him ascension with body and with soul. You cannot ascend with body. I am giving him something that I didn’t give anyone. He is different. He is not like us. There is no need to go further in that explanation. But we have to know that what the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam gave us is for our benefit.

One hadith the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam mentioned narrated by Muslim is that “Allah created us from 360 mifsal, 360 joints in us.” Doctors might know many joints, the might count them, but as the prophet mentioned there are 360. And I was reading in Chinese medicine there are 366 joints or points of acupuncture points. They say there are 360 or 366 acupuncture points that when you touch them they send a message to part of the body to correct that part of the body.

The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said, "there are 360 points that need to be fixed every day.” We might not know them. And he said, “man halala wa kabara wa hamada wa sabahallah wa istighfaarallah wa imatat al-ada min at-tareeq whoever says la ilaha illa-Allah and praised Allah (alhamdulillah) and glorified Allah (Subhanallah) and asked Allah’s forgiveness (istaghfirullah) and removed whatever is injurious from the way, (and whoever called to what is good and prohibited what is wrong), that is considered a sadaqa and that sadaqa touches one point and clears it every day.”

So he is giving us a thing that if you want to clean your body then to make it strong make 360 sadaqa. What is that 360 sadaqa? It means do 360 something you give to Allah. You can do 360 istaghfirullah that is considered 360 different sadaqa. That is why he said if you say Allahu Akbaryou are touching a point. If you say alhamdulillah you are toughing a point. If you give a poor person you are touching a point, if you take something from the road that is touching a point.

So any good thing you do you are touching one of these to rejuvenate that point. That is why people might get sick, headache or get any kinds of problems and that is to remind to go back to Allah. When you get sick you remember. You get a headache migraine and say, "O Allah help me.”
So when people ask me, “what is the best profession to do, I tell them to be doctor.” They say, “O that is too much money that profession. But it is not too much money it is that you see sick people too much and it reminds you of akhira.” They are the best people to remember akhira as they see these sick people every day.

قال رسول الله " داووا مرضاكم بالصدقة"

So the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam has mentioned this a lot and the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said, "cure your patients with sadaqa.”[1]

People understand that sadaqa is giving a donation. No it is only one, but sadaqa can be many types of things. Smiling in face is sadaqa. Seeing a patient is sadaqa. Inviting someone for teach is sadaqa. Taking an obstacle from the street is sadaqa, struggle vs. yourself is sadaqa. Anything you do for Allah is sadaqa as if you are giving charity to heavens. Allah doesn’t need it. It is something to be rewarded that is why he called issadaqa.

Look this is so great what the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said:

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "اتقوا النار ولو بشق تمرة، ولو بكلمةٍ طيبة".

Ittaqullah wa law bi shiqqi thamarah - Beware to be punished or beware to be scolded or beware to be ashamed on Judgment Day, if only by the piece of a date, or even a slice of a date you give to someone who is in need.”

That means anything you give. What is slice of a date? It is nothing. But Allah likes that. Allah will reward with that. Save yourself from punishment even by slice of a data.

So anything you do for someone even by slice of a date you save yourself from punishment in this life or in the next life.

How many people are taking care of people, realities or not, even if they take money but this is the best of professions that you are taking care of Allah’s servants. This body is made of what? It is skin. You don’t see anything do you? It is all the same. Open that skin you will see millions and millions of cells, trillions of cells that the body is made form. Trillions of these cells that are within the body. Organs, all kinds of organs Allah gave to you and all of them are working together. You cannot have one working that is not synchronizing with another organ. Look the engine of car, simple example. You look the outside of the engine which is not working. Why is it not working? There is nothing wrong from outside. The mechanic will look and see – “O that is broken!” Allah gave to doctors to see what is wrong with the body’s engine.

So our bodies are like these angels. If a mixture of oil and water comes together what happens? The engine is gone.

So doctors say take the water away. Then it will be ok. Why the engine goes bad? Because we don’t take care of our engine.

قال رسول الله " داووا مرضاكم بالصدقة"

The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said, "cure your patients with sadaqa.”[2]

That can be anything not necessarily money. He didn’t say cure your body with something else. He sad, whatever sickness Allah created a remedy for it.

And there is an illness out of every kind of food, only rice. You eat it no sickness comes from it. What is that secret in rice? Allah knows, prophet knows. So our body always has to be checked. You checked the oil, you check the transmission, you check the sparklers. Why today we don’t check anything with that trust.

And the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam showed us the way.

'A'isha Radiallahu anhu reported Allah's Messenger Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam as saying, “Every one of the children of Adam has been created with three hundred and sixty joints; so he who declares the Glory of Allah, praises Allah, declares Allah to be One, Glorifies Allah, and seeks forgiveness from Allah, and removes stone, or thorn, or bone from people's path, and enjoins what is good and forbids from evil, to the number of those three hundred and sixty, will walk that day having removed himself from Hell.”[3]

He said there are 360 points in the body that one must touch on every day by saying takbir, tahlil, by saying alhamdulillah, there are different angels that come and touch on different points when you are doing dhikrullah.

And I will end with that hadith.

جاء رجل إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم و قال يا رسول الله إن شرائع الإسلام قد كثرت علىّ فدلني على عمل أتشبث به قال لا يزال لسانك رطباً بذكر الله

The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam was sitting with Sahaba and a man came and said, “it is becoming difficult on us the Shariah of Islam.”

People today say that, don’t they? “Give us something that is simple to do.” Do you think it is simple to be with the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam? No. But that man, Bedouin came to the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam and asked that question. That is good for us. Islam is the religion of Allah; the religion of Paradise. And the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam has to give us a way out.

What did he say? “Ija`al lisanak ratban bi dhikrullah - Keep your tongue wet with dhikrullah.” That doesn’t mean you don’t pray, it has nothing to do with your obligations.

But that is something extra in order to be with alladheena an`am’Allahu `alayhim min an-nabiyyeen was-siddiqeen wash-shuhada’i was-saliheen wa hasuna ula’ika rafeeqa.

So the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said, "Keep your tongue wet with dhikrullah.”

What Happened at the Moment of Death of Sayyidina Shah Bahauddin Naqshband

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani | Saturday, Oct 25, 2008 | Chicago, IL US

If someone has PhD and he goes to his horizon, what is there? Another horizon. And he goes to that horizon, what is there? Another horizon.

So fawqa kulli dhi `ilmin `aleem - above every knower there is a higher knower.

So it is a waste of time, not a waste, but above every knower there is a higher knowledge. Knowledge never ends. So don’t say one is above the other. Guidance is not cheap. Guidance is expensive. Might be all your life and you don’t achieve the level of guidance. The level of guidance Is a grant from Allah swt. If you are not granted you cannot achieve it.

Many people are being called murshid and I was going to a Mawlid in Los Angeles and there was a conference where they have 6 speakers. They asked, no even they didn’t ask, they put my name there and they put the name of the other 6 speakers. When I looked at the flyer I said, "SubhanAllah look these people out of their love, how much… “ because they praise someone out of their love. If you love the Prophet you praise the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. Are there people who don’t praise the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam too much. You know them - you understand.

They don’t praise too much. They say, "then you make shirk." That is stupid. Can praising the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam make shirk? To praise the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, you show your obedience to Allah when Allah said,

Inna Allaha wamalaikatahu yusalloona `ala an-nabiyyi ya ayyuha alladheena amanoo salloo `alayhi wa sallimoo tasleema

Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. Al-Ahzab [33:56]

"Allah and His angels are praising the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam.” When you praise the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam you are obeying Allah and obeying His Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. So guidance is not cheap.

So when I was looking at this flyer I saw in front of everyone’s name is ash-shaykh, al-`allaama al-mufti pir saheb.

Shaykh `allaama. `allaama means walking encyclopedia. That is Arabic, means he knows every kind of knowledge. How this Pakistani became a walking encyclopedia. There are Pakistanis that are `allaama but not everyone on the list is an `allaama mufti pir saheb. That `allaama might be a doctor. Out of their love they wrote it but in reality it is not correct. As they were just introducing me.

What the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said, " and he went in Isra and Mi’raj and every day we are reading Holy Qur'an and passing through that verse. What he described himself. Allah can describe himself whatever he likes and raise him and the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam can describe himself as he likes, but what did he Say?

Qul innama ana basharun mithlukum yooha ilayya annama ilahukum ilahun wahidun faman kana yarjoo liqaa rabbihi falya`mal `amalan salihan wala yushrik bi-`ibadati rabbihi ahadan.

Say [O Prophet]: "I am but a mortal man like all of you. It has been revealed unto me that your God is the One and Only God. Hence, whoever looks forward [with hope and awe] to meeting his Sustainer [on Judgment Day], let him do righteous deeds, and let him not ascribe unto anyone or anything a share in the worship due to his Sustainer!" Al-Kahf (The Cave) 18:110

Say: “I am only a human being.” He is the Seal of messengers. He is the Messenger of Allah swt that Allah sent him as mercy for humanity. What did he say? He said: say O Muhammad, ‘I am only a human being like you.’”

So what then about us if Sayyidina Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam is saying that out of humbleness?

You go to these conferences and one stands up and says, “I am introducing the speaker.” What you are introducing the speaker? Introduce his name and that is enough. They will speak ten minutes about the speaker, more than the lecture itself. And as he is praising him he swells up. What happened, Idris is happy. What happened? [ Mawlana touches Yusuf Bey’s medals]

As much as you praise as much as they are happy. As much as you praise Sayyidina Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, as much as the prophet says, “Don’t say!” but Allah is saying, “say it too much!” Allah is happy. So say salawat more.

So our problem today is that everyone is trying to say, "what is wrong with me?” Did you say that to yourself sometime or you never thought that. Ask your friend? [do you say what is wrong with you sometimes?] [sometimes.]

Do you say is something wrong with you? [sometimes] That we will see, I don’t believe. We will see when someone slaps you on the face. We will see if you get a hit from down.

Do we say, "what is wrong with us?” Every moment we must say, "what is wrong with us?”

The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam he is Seal of the messengers. One phrase he said made Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq to put a stone in his mouth for seven years. Do you want to put a pebble in your mouth for seven years? [Idris yes.] It is in your mouth not in your pocket. [He lost it already.]

Might be you swallowed it.

You stand up, Idris wants to see you. [I have been trying to tell him all along to put the pebble in his mouth] one for you, one for Idris and one for me.

Because of that phrase of the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, that hadith the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam mentioned, he put a stone, a large stone, in his mouth to guarantee what he says, as the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said,

من يضمن لي ما بين لحييه وما بين رجليه أضمن له الجنة

"who can control or guarantee what is between his jaws and what is between his legs I will guarantee for him Paradise.” That means whoever has control over his desires for speaking and for something else, “if anyone can control and stop that I will guarantee you Paradise.”

Take the easiest one, to control the tongue. Can you control the tongue from talking? No, because we are not trying. He put a stone in his mouth. Until Jibreel came to the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam and told him, “give him Allah’s salaams and tell him to take the stone out of his mouth.”

It means when you lie, you cheat, you steal, when you don’t want to study; they are happy they have holidays, vacation, especially young ones.

You say, “yes we are sick.”

You have school tomorrow? [no] oh. You must have school every day. Every moment. We must learn something new every moment. If we are not learning something new from what is around us then we are wasting time.

So what do we have to learn today? It is so simple: don’t think you are something.

He said, "guide me.” When he said that word it agitated me.

Who guides who? Handicapped guides handicapped? Disabled can guide disabled? Both of them are disabled, how can they guide each other? Are we disabled or not? That doesn’t mean we are not trying to decrease our pride or personality no, but this is teaching us a lesson that we are disabled. We are disabled in everything.

Look I give you an example. But we have to not forget the hadith of the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam where we mentioned that Sayyidina Abu Bakr put that stone in his mouth.

Under whose name is this dergah? Under Shah Naqshband is it not. It is the most distinguished Naqshbandi tariqah. He spread it east and west, until Shaykh Nazim and he spread it all over the world. But still it is tariqah an-Naqshbandiyya.

And this story will tell you how careful he was in his dealings with his students and with everyone around.

He was so rich and people say, "how can you be so rich and you are Naqshbandi. You must be very poor.”

Who said? You can be a billionaire, not just a millionaire even. The ghaniyyun shaakir is better than faqeerin `abid. The thankful rich person is better than the poor worshipper. The poor one can only do for himself but the rich one can do help for many others

O Mersad. Don’t think you became a peacock, that you are someone big. Look Sayyidina Shah Naqshband what happened to him, when he was …

So from your hand I will take this. Who brought it, Idris? Ahh!

In his time, he was very rich. In his time, as Grandshaykh may Allah bless his soul, “Every night he used to feed 5000 people and they were studying in his school,” and til today you can go and see his school.

He said that “one time there was drought in the city, in Samarqand and there is no more wheat for people to eat. There is no rain, there is no more food.

They came to Sayyidina Shah Naqshband and said, ‘Ya Sayyidee this is situation and people are dying from hunger there is no rain.’ What did he do? He said, ‘Is there any house that has any grain?’ They looked and looked and looked and found one house of one rich person, who is the richest person in area, he has a little bit of grains of wheat of flour. They brought it to Sayyidina Shah Naqshband and said, ‘this is what we found.’ He said, ’take it to windmill and I am coming.’ So they went to the mill and you know they used to grind wheat in those days with two buffalos.

The buffalo puts its head between the yoke and then he turns the wheel and it grinds the flour. At that time they choke on the stones that come in the bread. And today they have zero tolerance flour, milled very smooth. And still they are throwing the food more than they eat. Sunnah is to keep water next to you when eating. Why? Because they used to choke on the stones that comes in the barley bread, so they have to drink water quickly.

That is why one of his wives, he was telling her, “Ya Ayesha, in the Last Days,” while he was sitting telling her, he said, "People are not going to eat from our bread.” She said, “How are they going to eat?” He said, "they are eating bread that is very pure, ground to the end. You cannot find anything in it that is not fine and yet they are not thankful.”

Grandshaykh may Allah bless his soul, said in the time of the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam no Sahaba used to have tooth decay, cavities in their teeth, because it was not in that time. There was no dentistry at that time. For every time Allah gives them ways.

She raised her hands and said, "O Allah make cavities come in their teeth for their ungratefulness for their fine flour.” The Prophet said, "stop!” and if she didn’t stop Grandshaykh said that all the people of today would have lost their teeth. From that time cavities began.

So today they don't show gratitude they don’t say Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem at the beginning of eating and they don’t say alhamdulillah at the end. When they finish, Idris what happens. [Mawlana demonstrates someone smoking.] At the end this is what they do. Is that thanking Allah swt? Or they drink. “What you want to drink?” SubhanAllah everyone has to drink when they are eating. Everyone, if they don’t drink they feel they didn’t eat.

So at the end they take these cigars, big ones, and they … or cigarettes and they being to smoke, after what? After food. This is thanking Allah!?

And others, they do something worse: they take marijuana and they think they are doing something nice. And that is why you see half the children in the west have no brains. Their brains are gone through drugs.

So what do you say? This is our time. This is…which guide can guide you now. There is no way for a guide except Sayyidina Mahdi Alayhissalam. Guides are rare. You cannot find like Mawlana Shaykh Nazim - they are rare. You might find one or two - for us he is the highest but you cannot find like anymore, they are hidden.

“So Shah Naqshband said, ‘bring that grain’ and they took the grain of wheat and Sayyidina Shah Naqshband he put the grain on the millstone that is going to turn and they put, usually they put two buffaloes or two donkeys. So there were two buffalos or two donkeys and they tie one to one side of the stone and tie to the other side of the stone and then Shah Naqshband took one of the ropes away and with the other buffalo he began to turn the windmill. As he is turning wheat is coming from all directions. He ordered all the villages that are outside that village to come, as much as they can to take of flour. And from morning to evening except the prayers that wheat is coming out until the whole area Bukhara, Samarqand and Merv, was covered with wheat it might be enough for 10 years. Everyone was a student of his knew what he was doing.

So everyone went back and they were happy.

So Sayyidina Shah Bahauddin Naqshband when he was dying many years later with all he was doing of khayr to feed people to guide them to teach them. He was biggest guide of people, and the angel of death was coming to take his soul. What are we going to say when angel of death is coming? What are we going to say, "wait till I finish my Gameboy?” no. “Wait till if finish my DVD player.” Now more than that: “wait til I finish my emails.” Some people might have 2000 or 3000 emails, and if Sayyidina Azraeel will say “yes” then they might go through their junk email even in order to delay.

What do doctors do? They think they are delaying the death of people.

What did Allah say?

To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation). Al-A'raf [7:34]

Go put a sign on the lake. Jogging is not going to give you longer life. You see everyone going jogging. Even those who say they are guides and shaykhs. You are imam and you go to gym. How you go to gym and all kinds of types of people instead of hiding yourself in your home and reflecting. That reflection of one hour is better than one year of worship. Imam: I am going to swim. How you are imam going to swim and all these naked women are there. Are you going with black eyeglasses so no one can see you.

So angel of death came to Sayyidina Shah Naqshband. He is protected Sayyidina Shah Naqshband. As soon as the angel of death came for Sayyidina Shah Naqshband to meet his lord, as soon as they begin to see him, when he is on the bed, flipping on the ground. How you say? Flipping, falling and falling on his face. Rubbing his beard on the ground and saying: “Ya `Afuw, Ya `Afuw…” Rubbing his lahyatush-shareefa `ala al-ard. Seven times saying, “Ya `Afuw.” Then they put him on the bed. Then he falls down. Then he says: “Ya `Afuw, Ya `Afuw…” seven times. Then they put him on bed and then he falls saying, “Ya `Afuw, Ya `Afuw,….” Each time they put him he falls. You know Ya `Afuw means The One Who Forgives. Everyone was surprised at Sayyidina Shah Naqshband, though of course everyone has to say “Ya `Afuw.”

Any student that is doubtful will say, "O look at what kind of death,” as they cannot understand any hikmat out of it except his student and successor, Ala’uddin al-Attar. He understood why, for Shah Naqshband whispered to him.

When he saved thousands and hundreds when he put himself in place of the buffalo to make that flour to come out, then why is he saying “Ya `Afuw”? Allah was saying to him: “O Shah Naqshband. Why are you interfering in My Will. It is not up to you to feed them - it is up to Me.”

He said, " Ya `Afuw” because without permission from the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, as always when he wants to make a miracle he must get authorization from the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam to make a miracle. If not, then he falls into the category of sin. So that is why Naqshbandi shaykhs don’t like to make miracles. They don’t want anyone to know about them, they are hidden.

Today those who are representatives of shaykhs around the world they show they know everything. Look Sayyidina Shah Naqshband, was rubbing his head his beard on floor and saying, “I was not right to do that. It is as if I canceled Your Will.”

Only when we get permission from the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, then is it is according to the Will of Allah.

So even last moment in his life he is asking forgiveness.

So where is understanding of a guide today? The meaning of a guide is not simple it is not easy I t is not something you go to university and buy it and study for it, it is a grant from Allah. If Allah gives it.

We go back, when Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq heard that hadith said, "stop! i don’t want to be problem to myself.” What did the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallamsay? Allahuma la takilnee ila nafsee tarfata `aynin wa la `aqal min dhalik - don’t leave me to my ego for blink of an eye or less.” Does the ProphetSallallahu Alayhi Wasallam have ego? No! But even so he is saying “Don’t leave me to my ego for blink of an eye.”

So like children how much you have go, they say I have this much [stretch arms]

So how much ego do you have?

So don’t say I know something. The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam who passed through the horizon that is no end, horizon that is qaaba qawsayni aw adna, still he said, "don’t leave me to my ego for the blink of any eye.”

So what did Abu Bakr as-Siddiq do? He took a stone and put it in his mouth, for seven years and did not take it out unless necessary.

So what is lesson today? It is not to talk too much. People talk too much today. They talk in everything as if they know everything. Keep quiet. If they ask you answer the question but if they don’t ask you keep quiet and don’t burn your fingers.

Guidance is Through Guides Even if You Were The Only Person Living on Top of a Mountain

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani | Saturday, Oct 25, 2008 | Chicago, IL USSufiLive.com

A`udhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

Nawaytu'l-arba` een, nawaytu'l-`itikaaf, nawaytu'l-khalwah, nawaytu'l-riyaada, nawaytu's-salook, nawaytu'l-`uzlah lillahi ta`ala fee hadha'l-masjid

Really when you want to say something to a group of people you will face difficulties because on what issue you want to speak? Because everyone thinks differently, everyone behaves differently, everyone has a tendency of understanding something and tendency not to understand. Not all of us are on the same level, so the level change and that is why it becomes very difficult for the one that is speaking – it becomes difficult on what subject he has to touch on. And awliyaullah are the spies of the hearts, so they know, I it’s not like us normal people. We know we are unable to give what you need butawliyaullah know what their student need or why then are they awliya, for what reason?

A wali is in need for his student. And a student is in nee fro the wali. Because if there is no student to whom is he going to speak to empty his heart. If there is no student what is the benefit of his saint hood. Allah gave him sainthood for the benefit of his students. And that is hwy I heard it, I felt it I knew it from Mawlana Shaykh and Grandshaykh who said that they are in need of their student and Grandshaykh went further than that, he said, "the Prophet (s) is in need of his Ummah. If there is no Ummah to whom he is going to deliver the message. He said that is good tidings for us. If there is Ummah or no Ummah, Allah will give him that rank, but because of our presence he was tortured and abused because he was caring fro the Ummah that Allah created.

So according to every level there is a speech according to that level. And what we are going to touch on is what Allah swt opened, I opened that book and saw that hadith of the prophet that we are in need today.

Allah said In Holy Qur'an ittaqullah wa yu`alamikumullah, be ware of Allah or fear Allah or love Allah, be a trustworthy person, show your ability of being straightforward, Allah will teach you. That means that Allah will send you a teacher. You are not a prophet that Allah will send you revelation but Allah will send you a teacher that will teach you.

Many people say:

وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ اللّهُ وَاللّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

ittaqullah wa yu`alimakullah- fear God and God will teach you [2:282] that you will be taghut when you have taqwa. Did you reach the level of sainthood that you can receive teaching through your heart. But Allah will send someone to teach you, even you are in China . But no taqwa, no teachings. No taqwano teacher. No taqwa, no good tidings.

The host of the house hosted us. He is generous. Generosity is shown at the table but we didn’t yet fill our pockets. He is generous, it confessed itself by all kinds of food they are giving you.

So Allah is saying that you have taqwa then I will guide you where you have to go, I will plug to the main source as `abdullah, as servant of Allah is increasing in his `ibadah, as much as more energy will be reaching him through that plug that Allah plugged him.

Everyone has a plug. Allah created everyone with a plug. Where is your plug. You have two plugs: one for heavenly messages and one for earthly messages. Mind for earthly messages and heart for heavenly messages. As we said yesterday “is the mind in the head or the mind in the heart?” Which is bigger the mind in the head or the mind in the heart.

The mind is not in heart. The mind is only in brain. The small memory chip there. You doctors you never checked it? Where is the intelligence in the brain. Which is part of the brain that gives in formation and downloads and zoom in and zoom out. Four doctors here and no one answering. You made test yesterday for me.

There are areas in the brain that acquire information. And the main one is in the back of the brain, the brainstem the cerebellum. Second opinion. Yes.

Yesterday He took 100 over 100 I don’t know however, maybe he cheated.

So all of that, Allah gave you that small thing in the brain and you think you can understand. And Allah gave to the heart. What is in the heart is bigger. Why is it bigger you remember or you forgot.

يقول الله : ما وسعني أرضي ولا سمائي ولكن وسعني قلب عبدي المؤمن

That is why Allah, the Exalted, said, “Neither heavens nor earth contained Me, but the heart of My believing servant contained Me.”

Mind cannot contain the universe the heart is able to contain as heart can contain the manifestation of the Beautiful Names and Attributes.

So even if you are in china and you are fearing Allah and you want to get knowledge Allah will send you. Ask Imam Senad. He is drawing on paper. But he is going to write that hadith of prophet down when we come to it.

Advice of awliyaullah is like naqsh `ala hajr. They are engraved in stone. Man `allamanee harfan kuntu lahu `abdan that is Arabic poetry whoever taught me one letter I must be a servant for that person because he taught me.

Man `allamaneee harfan kuntu lahu harfan who taught me one letter I must be a salve to him.

Allah is sending us the Holy Qur'an and saying this is fro you. And what do we do? We keep it on the shelf. Anyone following what the Holy Qur'an is saying? Rarely.

So what did prophet Sayyidina he said, "wa law anna al-mumin `ala kullati jabalin la-kayada lahu `alimun `alimahu” Tirmidhi and at-Tabarani and ibn Hajar in Fath al-Bari.

It means that if Allah swt one of his servant that has taqwa found himself on a mountain and no one around him, Allah swt would have ascribed an `alimfor him to be able to teach him even if he was on top of a mountain that there is no civilization and no life, he found himself there Allah will assign to him`alim to come and teach him.

I heard that from Grandshaykh a long time, might be 35 years ago and he said, explaining that hadith, he said, "if someone completely lives out of thisdunya, live by himself in a place that no human comes Allah will send a wali to that one to teach him and to take care of him.” Because he said, "every`abd is in need of at least every 3 days to look into the eyes of a wali or that `abd cannot survive.”

That is big what he is saying. It means reflection between people today they go today to s ay we need positive energy and negative energy. Where do they go to learn these things. They go to different centers to learn mediation and they teach them energy.

Grandshaykh said, "May Allah bless his soul, if someone found on a mountain then Allah will send hi a wali that Is responsible to look into his eyes and reflect the energy that he has and to take away that negative energy that mans has. Regardless of who he is. And that is necessary to give him power to survive in dunya.

And you say, "O that didn’t happen to me.” Might be someone on street looks at you and that is a wali that does that for you.

So don’t underestimate anything, everything comes with hikmah, he said,

The prophet said, "O Allah I need helpers when Allah gave him the Ummah as trust to return clean, we said this many times. And he gave themawliyaullah and they can reach them from east to west. If not reaching from physical means they come to them in dreams the come in visions they come in different pictures. So don’t underestimate the power of a wali.

Sayyidina Muhammad said, "If a believer was on top of a mountain Allah would have assigned an `alim to reach him.

Where are we now? Are we on top of a mountain or not? Everyone of us is on top of a mountain. What does that mean? South America ?

Every one of us is on top of a mountain. Every one of us has a mountain. Mountain of ego. Huge ego. That mountain has to completely annihilate in order that you will be able to be a guide or a wali.

If you still have that ego in your, bad ego, you will never reach what you are asking to reach.

Some people say, "O I am generous with people, I am good with people. That is all ok. But did you ask yourself a question that ‘O my self. O `Ali (r), did you look in the mirror every day in the morning? Did you look in the mirror? [na`m] what did you see. Which `Ali (r) you saw there? You saw an `Ali (r). not the `Ali (r). how many Alis are inside you? How many Waseems are inside you? How many Sahibs are inside you? You have to unite them to become one. That is why Allah said,

Ya ayyuha an-naasu inna khalaqnaakum min dhakarin wa untha wa ja`alnakum shu`ooban waqabaila lita`arafoo inna akramakum `inda Allahi atqaakum inna Allaha `aleemun khabeer.

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). Al-Hujurat [49:13]

Take the interpretational meaning. You are endocrinologist. Do you have char of woman inside you? [yes] do you have character of man inside you? [yes. Until six weeks of embryogenesis there is no difference between female and male they look exactly the same. At 6 weeks there are hormones that turn one to male and one to female]

And still when you grow up you still have that mixture of both but which one is more you are towards that gender. That is why if ?? goes up the testosterone goes up and the milk comes out of breasts.

So we have made you from male and female. Within you the characters of man and woman to know each other there in that personality.

Inna atqaakum. That is why Rabi`a became a wali. That character of sainthood was more appearing in her. The character of manhood was more appearing in her that is why she was a wali.

When Allah opens on the heart of awliyaullah they come with secrets that no one heard it before. Allah sends an `alim to teach you. Allah will not leave you without someone to teach you. Have taqwa and Allah will teach you.

If you are on a mountain and you have no one Allah will send an `alim to teach you.

So what is important is to destroy that mountain in order to get more from this wild nature we are living in, all these will characters that are in us we have to eliminate that hump. Do you have a hump? How many humps do you have. Everyone sees their brother’s hump. Everyone sees the badness of the other. They never acknowledge the badness of themselves

Lim is not how to read and write as we mentioned in yesterday’s Suhbat. As Sayyidina `Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu said to his students, what benefit you your `ilm. You wrote too many things but what did it benefit you. People today Allah sent them a lesson stock market, stock market and stock market. And they didn’t reach to learn lessons from Holy Qur'an and hadith of the Prophet (s), and they lost in one second.

We don’t want to lose in the last second that means when we are dying. You need something to take with you. What are we taking with us? Five prayers. No this is obligation. Like eating. Can you say I will not eat. Don’t eat if you can. If you don’t eat don’t pray. But prayers if food of the soul.

Allah doesn’t like unbalance وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ wa la tukhsir al-meezan - Don’t make one side of the balance over the other side. [55:9.]

We are leaving one side and leaving the other. We have to balance both sides,

وِمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Wa minhum man yaqoolu rabbana atina fee’d-dunya hasanatan wa fi’l-akhirati hasanatan wa qina `adhaaba’n-naar.

And there are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and defend us from the torment of the Fire!" Al-Baqara [2:201]

Knowledge is not what you read and write but it is what you eliminate from badness in you.

I was in a conference in Malaysia two years ago a conference on spirituality and psychology they asked me to give a presentation. And the dean and president of the university and professors and all these big scholars. And then they introduce the big muffakkir on psychology and he was doing his presentation and it was on slides, what the German professor said, what Japanese said, "and what... this one said and that one said. And he came with a formula at the end and said that you must come with all good characters that are in you.

And though I have presentation of 50 pages, I addressed what Mawlana sent to my heart. You still see that presentation in the black folder. It is there two years. You remember that presentation, t? What am I going to speak? These are all professor, thinkers. That the biggest thinker of them went crying. I don’t remember what I said, but I remember that after me, in second session in afternoon, he said, “I was sitting with some students there, and he said I never heard anyone coming with such an explanation.” What did I say? It is so simple.

I said, what is benefit of daily counting what good you did. That only makes the ego higher. What you need is to count how much badness you have in yourself. The most important is not how much goodness you have but it is how much badness you have and how to know that? All people say, "I don’t have any badness. I am a good person, I am professor I am good citizen. I go and come and I don’t do anything really bad.

I explained that before and that is in the book Sufi Science of Self Realization. And I remember that when Grandshaykh in 1967 he ordered us to go for hajj. It was [our] first hajj. And he said you go to that, where I did seclusion me and Shaykh Nazim, and there were two rooms. He said, "You will go my room in Madinat ’l-munawwarah where he did seclusions for one year and you will stay there in my room and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim will be coming and giving you lectures as much as day and night has time.”

And we went very happy that Mawlana Shaykh Nazim will come after us, he brings the hajjis from Cyprus and Hajjah Nazihe used to take the pilgrims forziyarah for the wives and children of the Prophet (s) she used to take them.

And here is what we learned from Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, we came night time, and this is what I was explaining to that professor. And we came very excited me and my brother and Grandshaykh said sty in my room it is locked what you want better than that. We came at night and the one who runs that school is Shaykh Abbas Qaari, he died at age 107 and he .. his wife he married there at the age of 85 and she went inside her room and she went inside that room which is her marriage room and she never came out until she died. That was her seclusion, she was making dhikr day and night, prayers day and night. And she never came out. Allah provide her with food and water and what more she wants. We have everything and we are still complaining and struggling.

If Allah asks here what she did she will say, "Ya Rabbee you know what I did. Go to Paradise .”

So if we are asked what we have to say we have to say, " we need protection of the Prophet (s) and his shafa`a.”

So we came and Qaari `Abbas said what do you want? We said, "Grandshaykh said to go and stay in his room. No you cannot because someone is already in it. There was no one in it but he was saying that because Grandshaykh didn’t give us a letter.

We insisted but he said no, but I will give you a place I have one place. Where is that? On roof of the bldg. we went up and we looked and we saw what? A herd of goats on the building we saw goats. Ok, no problem, we are goats also. That is better than something else. Goat is ok.

He said, "No not here on roof. This is for the goats.” He said, “come here.” We went and there were two buildings, next to each other his building, and the school. Between them is two pieces of wood that has been nailed across between these two buildings, and if you look between you see down all the way to the ground, and if you stand on them they shake. He said, "This is only place I have, you stay or not?” It is the only place that is covered, so we didn’t have any chance to say “no”, as Grandshaykh was sending us and that is the baraka. So what we have to say? We say, “ok, but can you give us mattresses?” He said, "What mattresses? Put your turban and lie on it.”

He is teaching us to be dervishes. You think it is cheap. No, it is not cheap.

And we were so tired, we had no choice, we were lying down. And if I move, the whole bridge begins to shake. Shaykh Adnan says “don’t move we will fall.” And we look around and we see something else. Hundreds of lizards are there on the wall. And if they touch you with their saliva it give you leprosy.

We stayed there three days. You want tariqah, nice tariqah.

Shaykh Nazim didn’t come. Finally he came after three days. He asked us, “What are you doing there? Come, come, come down.”

Then he opened the room of Grandshaykh. There was no one there.

Then we stayed there rest of the time. And there Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil began to teach us secrets of tariqah. I brought that story to mention something.

He told us, “The first time I stayed there, by order of Grandshaykh, Allah gave us 500 ma’mooraat and 800 forbiddens, manhiyyaat, to eliminate forbiddens and to act on Allah’s commands. And O Nazim Effendi, (that is how he used to call him like that), make sure you eliminate the bad characters within you and you do the commands that Allah is ordering. If you eliminate one bad characters in your whole life Allah will reward you more than if you do the 500 orders. To that extent the elimination of a bad character or a sin to take it completely away not to come to it back Allah will reward you as if you did the 500 commands or more than that from every one forbidden that you take out from yourself.

I was thinking Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani is saying, “How am I going to count, I don’t have anything. But as soon as I entered seclusion I took a notebook and I was writing what ever comes to my heart from forbiddens, the wild character of the ego.” Go and check yourself see how many you count. Ten, fifteen. How can I count 8000. That was six month seclusions. He said, "I spent all my effort and all my power to find all these bad characters and I found 167 of them.”

I was explaining that to the professor there in a more detailed way and academic way.

I said why do you want to count the good thing in you character that will only increase you ego. But count the bad characters and eliminate them from your life then we can reach higher levels.

In medicine what you do, and I gave him that example. You go and count all his good heart, his good cholesterol, his… or you go to see his bad characters. You don’t say his eyes are good, his ears are good. No you go to the bad defected problem inflammation where there is a when you take antibiotics where there is an infection. You don’t go where there is no infection. You take the wood and put on the tongue and say “ah” you look where is the disease. You don’t go and say his ears are nice. His legs are ok.

He looked at me and said, "Your theory is better than that German theory.” And that is because they go and count the good characters.

That is why the Prophet (s) said, "wa law anna mumin `ala kulli jabalin la kayada lahu Allah …

“Allah will send him someone to teach him who to eliminate that hump, that bad characters that are in every person. And I will stop here and end with this hadith of the Prophet (s).”

قال صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ ‏[‏اخوف ما اخاف على امتي كل منافق عليم اللسان‏]‏ ‏(‏رواه احمد)

Akhrajahu ibn `adee in al-kamil. Akhwafa ma akhaafu `ala ummattee munafizqin aleem ul-lisan. That is a hypocrite acts opposite of what he speaks. He wants to give you something he wants you to see and hear, he covers his nifaaq. We in order to be saved we have to say we are helpless and hopeless, weak servants of Allah. There is not lecture and not student. There is above every knower another knower. You reach the horizon there is another horizon. It never ends because the earth is round you keep encircumambulating and find the horizon.

May Allah bless you and your family and give us good tidings dunya and akhira.

"Change We Need"

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani ar-Rabbani qs
Thursday, Nov 06, 2008 | Chicago, IL US
Bosnian Mosque, Northbrook

May Allah bless Imam Senad and his community. It is an honor for us to be here and that he opened the mosque for us. We will first do dhikr and then short talk and then perform a marriage, insha-Allah.

After Imam Senad’s permission, [Dhikr]

Audhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كلمتان خفيفتان على اللسان ثقيلتان في الميزان حبيبتان إلى الرحمن سبحان الله وبحمده سبحان.

Kalimatan khafeefataan `ala al-lisan thaqeelataan fi ’l-meezaan.

Two words that are light on the tongue and heavy on the scales in Day of Judgment. These words will erase sins, even if the sins are too heavy they will erase them.

The Prophet (s) recommended these two words, to Sahaba to recite them. SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi SubhanAllah il-`adheem, istaghfirullah. They are strong enough to erase any sins.

We are living in a world that is running so fast towards its destination. People they think that they are going to live forever. But we are, as Allah described us in Holy Qur'an:

إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا الْأَمَانَةَ عَلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالْجِبَالِ فَأَبَيْنَ أَن يَحْمِلْنَهَا وَأَشْفَقْنَ مِنْهَا وَحَمَلَهَا الْإِنسَانُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ ظَلُومًا جَهُولًا

Inna `aradnaa alamaanata `ala as-samaawati wa’l-ardi wa’l-jibaali fa abayna an yahmilnaha wa ashfaqna minha wa hamalaha al-insaanu innahu kaana dhalooman jahoola,

We did indeed offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains; but they refused to undertake it, being afraid thereof: but man undertook it;- He was indeed unjust and foolish;- Al-Ahzab [33:72]

We gave this trust, Allah is saying, “I offered My trust to the heavens and earth,” and they said, "no Ya Rabbee! we cannot carry it. It is difficult.” Human being said, "We can carry it,” and Allah described human being as dhalooman jahoolan. Why to carry it. Heavens and earth said, "No we cannot carry it, don’t send it on us.” Because if they carried it and didn’t fulfill it then Allah swt would have shattered this universe. That is why you see this universe is here. That is what human beings took. That is why Allah disasters come on human being. The earth is not affected. If there is a flood who is affected? Us. Because you took the trust. If you want the trust keep it clean as I gave it to you. If you make it clean I have to clean you. Do you keep your son dirty or your daughter? Do you keep yourself dirty? No we go and take a shower.

Why we are keeping our trust dirty. We read Holy Qur'an and we read holy hadith and we put all these verses of Holy Qur'an in our homes and in our schools but what we are taking wisdom out of it.

Looking – everyone is looking at Masud’s baby and they are happy. Why don’t we smile to keep our trust clean. Everyone’s eyes are diverted to an innocent person always. But our eyes are not diverted towards each other because we are sinful. That is the big difference.

Awliyaullah they can balance it. They have that vision. They don’t like anything in this universe, the only thing they like is that how much they are closer day by day to the Divine Presence. To reach their destination. We were driving today to come here and we were counting the minutes, how many minutes left. We want to reach our destination.

Everyone likes to reach his destination. We were running to be here by eight o’clock to reach our destination to reach on time. Also our souls are running to reach their destinations. Our bodies they don’t want. Because they carried the trust. The soul was cleave it didn’t carry the trust. The body is ignorant and oppressor.

This dunya is running to its destination. No one can stop it. Imams, presidents, kings. They cannot stop the destination that is coming the end goal for reaching our destinations. It is coming. Awliyaullah they have a computer, you see these very very advanced computers today, they are very small, they have everything when the time comes, the computer calls adhan. Dhuhr time comes the computer calls adhan. How does it know? It is calculating the second. You don’t have one of these. Imam you have one? I have one in my pocket. Finished `Isha time. It calls the adhan.

This earth is moving to its destination to make sajda. Ya Rabbee, I have come to my destination, I am traveling fast to reach you. No one can stop it.

They have signs, awliyaullah. They live with signs. Without signs, the Prophet (s) predicted signs of the last, of the end of this universe.

When Jibreel asked him three questions, about Islam, iman and ihsan and then asked him the more questions, “when is the time of the Judgment Day?” and the Prophet (s) said, “The one asking knows more than the one asked.” Then Jibreel asked, “what are the signs of the last days?” and the Prophet (s) mentioned one of these signs in that hadith: that desert people who are living in desert will compete in building high rises, turning deserts into paradises, dunya paradises.

Awliyaullah are counting moment by moment. So what do they do? They are in presence of their lord. The Prophet (s) said, "the best time I am in is when I am in prayers.” Why shaykh? The Prophet (s) for him the best time for him is in the prayers. For awliyaullah when is the best time for them? In their prayers. When you recite al-Fatiha, whom are you addressing. Alhamdulillah. Ya Rabbee, praise be to You. Ar-Rahman ar-Raheem you are directing your conversation to Allah and your salutation and your respect and acceptance that you are our Lord. So why then we pray quickly?

If you are with a girl, … he is smiling. You invite her today for a coffee or a tea, why? I am giving that example because it is happening. And you want to speak with her is it not. Are you trying to stretch the time or shrink it. They try to stretch the time, why? Because their desires asking them to do that.

What about then the desires to stretch the time when you are in a prayer? Instead of that we shorten it, Ya imam? We are in a rush. That is a small example. That all of us, I am not excluding us, all of us are falling into it.

Scholars go and speak today on the minbar, or give presentations in schools or in university touching on issues that are very high issues. Why are you flying so high. Look at your bottom. You stretch your time with a lady or a body but you cut your time with Allah swt when you are praying.

كُلُّ حِزْبٍ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ

Kullu hizbin bima ladayhim farihoon - Every party with what they have are happy”. Al-Mu'minun [ 23:53 ]

We are making tafsir to this ayah.. They translated with 100 different meanings. But one of the meanings is that you are with Hizb ash-Shaytaan you are trying to stretch your time with that one but in the prayer you are with Allah and you are shortening your time.

Awliyaullah what do they do? They stretch the time, when they are in prayer they like to stretch the prayer completely. That is why in taraweeh they stretch the prayer in order to recite the Holy Qur'an. It was not in time of the prophet to recite the whole Qur’an and it was not in time of the prophet to read the whole Qur’an. But in time of Sayyidina `Umar (r) they made it twenty raka`ats and now they made it to recite the whole of the Holy Qur'an.

Why? So they can stretch the time in Allah’s Presence. So we have to stretch the prayer in order to be longer in Allah’s Presence.

What are your five pillars of Islam: shahadatu an la ilaha illa-Allah wa anna muhammadan `abuduhu rasuluhu wa iqamus-salaat, wa ita’u ’z-zakat, wa sawmu Ramadan wa hajj al-bayt. Look SubhanAllah insalaat there are five pillars.

Awliyaullah are not blind they see. When you say Allahu Akbar, … huh? Iqamus-salaat. You are there in front of Ka`bah. When you sit for at-tahiyat ashhadu an la ilaha illa-Allah wa ashhadu anna muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh…

So two pillars are there. When you say “Allahu Akbar” you don’t drink and eat. So you are fasting. When you say “Allahu Akbar” you are not working. You are giving charity. In that time you are able to work but you are not you are giving that time in charity.

So when you say “Allahu Akbar” you are in Ka`bah. Don’t think you are not there. When awliyaullah, who are not stupid, they are taken to Ka`bah. But we cannot see. We are veiled. You are seeing the wall or you are seeing the imam. But in reality you are not praying towards the wall - you are praying towards the Ka`bah. Allah doesn’t have power to take away that veil to show you in Ka`bah? We say, "Allahu Akbar,” that “Allah is greater!” Cannot He take the veil away and show you the Ka`bah? Today you open the TV and you see Ka`bah. Cannot Allah open heavenly TV and take you to Ka`bah? But we are veiled. He didn’t veil us, but we veiled ourselves.

This dunya is moving to its destination. Last year in March in Mawlid an-Nabi (s) it began. They opened it. They opened for people to see that; for people to know there is a change coming. That change is an opening for something big going to happen. Awliyaullah were waiting and waiting and waiting for that thing to happen. From March that last year in California many people heard that. Many messages came that a change is going to happen. That change happened.

Don’t think there are no awliyaullah that Allah gave them authority on dunya. They have authority ondunya. Allah gave them that power.

By Mawlana’s order two weeks I came here and by Mawlana’s order this week I came here. It is not because I want to come or because you invited me. Two years I didn’t come. But there is an important message to be delivered for this week to be delivered also.

There are - when awliyaullah want you to see - when Mawlana Shaykh wants you to see, you see. You are not the shaykh. You are the sheep. When the ram wants to see he can take the whole flock back home to safety.

And hunters have what? They have the dogs to bring the preyers to the hunter. The pray. You send the dog everywhere to get the prey come. There was a message to that one, two weeks ago, to that one who is responsible for that whole area spiritually. Every area is under the responsibility of a wali in the whole world. And Sultan al-Awliya are responsible on the whole world. There was a message to be delivered to that one who is responsible to that area of the Midwest and there is congratulations to be given to thatwali who is responsible.

So awliyaullah are not veiled. When they want to send a message, they send.

So Mawlana Shaykh wants to send that message. Since this is the century of change is coming there is going to be a change for the whole world, from worse to good. Allah doesn’t change from good to worse. Allah loves His servants - He wants to change from bad to good.

That is why the title is “change we need.” They have not put that. Awliyaullah changed that inspired their heart to change that and it was changed. And with this new situation there is a big change that is going to take place for everyone to feel happiness, everyone to feel grateful to Allah swt because it is preparation for reaching this world to its destination. When this world reaches its destination we are reaching our destination,

Many times I asked, may Allah give him long life, Mawlana Shaykh many times I asked him about his legs because they were swollen and always he refuses to be treated. Why?

People wondered. We wondered, but when he wants you to know, you know. Because he wants to carry the pain on behalf of his followers that his followers will not be in pain in dunya or akhira. He will carry their pain on their behalf that they will not be in pain in dunya and akhira and he will sacrifice his safety and his comfort for us to be comfortable.

Awliyaullah they didn’t move without permission. Now is the time that Allah swt even a wali will be tested. The Prophet (s), how many times he was given hard time and he is Seal of the Messengers? He was given a hard time for his holy body and his body is holy and it went in Mi’raj and still he has been treated by his people in the worst way in the battle of Uhud. That was when they broke his teeth. That was after the Mi’raj. The one who went in Mi’raj in his holy body and came back, Allah did not leave him alone: “O Muhammad carry the difficulty of the Ummah.” To carry the difficulty he had to have his teeth broken. That is painful.

Allah tests his awliyaullah - don’t think Allah doesn’t test them. He wants them to carry as much as possible to take responsibility for their followers. Such a shaykh you have and such a saint you have. Scholars are children at the doors of awliyaullah. They are not awliyaullah - they are people who study and people who still have arrogance and pride and ego and desires. Still because they didn’t try to struggle against these characters in order to reach the level of ihsan. They didn’t reach above the first two levels. Awliyaullah went far in to the maqam al-ihsan in order to change their behavior to better behavior.

I saw Mawlana many times, after everyone sleeps, he goes to the garbage in the house - and show me one scholar that does that and show me one representative or deputy that does that. He goes there and he doesn’t say anything to anyone. He moves the garbage and he sees a piece of bread he takes it out. He sees food that is there and takes it out. Saves it and then the next day, he didn’t eat it in the night because he was not hungry, but the next day when people are eating on his table, he brings that food and eats it. I saw that hundreds of times. Not now, but when he was in Damascus in 1980s. Show me one of these scholars who are doing interfaith activities do that. No, they throw the food. He doesn’t want to throw any favor of Allah.

Allah left Fira`un. He said, "I am going to destroy Fira`un to Sayyidina Musa Alayhissalam.” Why Allah didn’t destroy him for 40 years? Because Fira`un was saving all these crumbs that fall down from the table. He used to collect them and eat them. He said, "I cannot throw them because this is ni`mat of Allah.”

Because when destination came, because we are on the way to destination, and that is coming. So prepare ourselves for that destination. So when his destination came, Shaytan came and said to him, “You are saving food and crumbs. Why? You are God! Step on that!”

How many times we are stepping on our crumbs? On our table and on the floor. Not only that, we take food and throw them.

I am not planning to address this and Mawlana Shaykh is insisting to say that change is coming. And that change began at Mawlid an-Nabi (s) in March. Some people in California they heard and saw that. Those who understood, understood that.

Mawlana said someone, by name, is coming. And that one came now. And we will see what kind of changes are going to happen. It is not his changes and it isn’t his people’s changes. No there is a heavenly change coming for the better. Not only for Muslims, for everyone. Allah doesn't look who is Muslim and not. But change for everyone. In akhira is something else. Allah will bring a change that is expected. Don’t forget to say, "Subhanallah wa bihamdihi Subhanallah il-`adheem istaghfirullah.”

The Story of How Shaykh Hisham Kissed the Threshold of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam

Introduction by Imam Haqqani

I think that Allah gave us baraka and blessings that fadilat ash-shaykh `Abdus Sattar Khan and fadilat ash-shaykh Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani we will get the baraka. I have been asking the Shaykh to come for long time and alhamdulillah that day is here.

Shaykh `Abdus-Sattar Khan

Qad qaala Allah swt b`ad Audhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem ya ayyuhalladheena aamanoo ittaqoollah wa koonoo ma` as-sadiqeen. [speech in Urdu]

Shaykh Jamaluddin

I did not come to here speak my only intention to come here was to hear Shaykh Hisham speak. My first meeting with Shaykh Hisham was in Madinat al-Munawwarah and he was there at the grave of Sayyida Fatima az-Zahra, and he was praying there and I was watching him and he was praying for so long, I don’t know what kind of supplications he was making, for 45 minutes and after that I went and kissed his hand.

I am not a great orator, Allahuma innee asa’luka bi sirri Abu Bakr as-Siddiq…

Fadilat ash-shaykh Hazrat Kabbani sahib is a well known shaykh and well-known scholar, may Allah bless him and we are so proud that shaykh is here and I don’t have to say anything because everyone is aware of that.

Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani

After your permission.
As-salama layaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakutuh.
Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem alhamdulilahi rabbi’l-`alameen was-salaat was-salaam ala sayyid al mursaleen … wa nashadu an la ilah ila-Allah wa nashadu anna Sayyidina Muhammad (s) …khatim ar-rusul sayyid al-bashr, rasuli rabbi’l-`alameen.

I don’t know from where I begin. May Allah bless Husayn Haqqani we are very happy we are here in this place that he opened with a lot of difficulties but this is a place for Ahl as-Sunnah wal-Jama`at.

And I asked for a title of what to speak and he said, "spirituality in Islam” and in front of Mawlana Abdus Sattar Khan I feel I have nothing to say and he is a role model for everyone to follow and brother Jamaluddin he brought a story that is many, many years behind.

And I will bring the story from the beginning.

That is one day I was in Jeddah and I decide to visit, because every Friday and Thursday I used to go to Madinat al-Munawwara to pray there as I was most of the time living there. So one day I was going and to the house I received a call form my Shaykh who is Cyprus and many of you know him and especially Shaykh Abdus Sattar Khan he is Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani. He said, "Where are you going?” if there is permission I am going to visit the Prophet (s). He said, "Kiss his threshold for me.” And when someone says something like that to you what do you say, "Especially your shaykh. But your mind begins to think, “How am I going to do that with all these barriers and guards? It is impossible.”

So I went and I said it yesterday and I repeat it today: that when the Prophet (s) went into Isra and Mi’raj - and this is problem many of us are facing today and the answer comes with this story, and this is the meaning of spirituality. Spirituality is not something you hav to do but it is something besides charity and fasting and prayer and hajj but it is the way to reach the maqam al-ihsan that Mawlana Abdus Sattar quoted the hadith of Sayyidina `Umar (r) to reach state of Ihsan, you have to do the five pillars of Islam and accept the 6 pillars of iman and how to reach the state of Ihsan. And especially that is very complex and difficult to something you say I will go to that station by myself and then find oneself turning in circles. You must have guide. And if you seek out you will find the guides. Saints. And all saints are brothers and all of them love each other. I am not speaking about false saints but I am speaking about real saints that give
their lives for their students.

So that time I went and that time I was driving 150, 160 km./hour about 120 miles per hour in order to reach quickly. Because he said, "go and kiss the threshold of the Prophet (s). There must be an opening. So I reached there safely and quickly by baraka of the Prophet (s). And I have to take a shower and go that holy place that Allah made piece of Paradise. The holy grave of the Prophet (s). The mistake we all make when we go to the Muwajaha, the holy place of Paradise I don’t like to say grave it is heavy on my heart to say “grave”; it is qata`n min al-jannah a piece of Paradise. So when you pass by a Paradise in this world what do you do? You stay as long as you can, you don’t want to go out.

So when we visit the Prophet (s), it is adab to stand as much as we can in his presence even not making du`a but only standing there trying to connect our heart with his heart. In a way that taffakur sa`atin khayran min ibaadati saba`een sunnah. That is for one hour when you are contemplating by yourself. How do you think it is when in presence of the Prophet (s)?

Everyone when passing there might stand 5 minutes, 7 minutes, 10 minutes and then go. Some might stand more and more and more and depends on how much they are in that connection. So in the guidance of our shuyukh we have visited the Prophet (s) with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim many times and may Allah give him long life and give long life to Mawlana Abdus Sattar. And I have seen how Mawlana Shaykh used to stand there and make du`a three and It is not a du`a really it is more like a conversation. You feel that you don’t see that but you need a lot to reach that level of mushaahada. But you feel the presence.

Since I used to go with my shaykh since 1967 he used to spend one hour or 1.5 hour there was no barrier as there is today. You have to kiss and move today.

So he used to stand one and a half hour and then he moved to Abu Bakr as-Siddiq and he stood another half hour and then to Sayyidina `Umar (r) another half an hour and then to Bab Jibreel, mahbit al-wahy - you know where Sayyidina Jibreel Alayhissalam used to come with wahy to the Prophet (s) - and then we go back to the maqam of Sayyida Fatima az-Zahra Radiallahu anhu that Grandshaykh said, "that angels have moved Sayyidina Fatima holy body to the end to the place where Sayyidina `Isa Alayhissalam is to be buried” that is why awliyaullah see Sayyida Fatima there. and there he spends 45 minutes and then he goes to Bab at-Tawbah where he makes special du`a there (which is now closed) and makes sajda.

You have to take opportunity and whatever in my heart I was taking opportunity usually many guard come and tell you to move. But usually I don’t stand by the beginning I stand by the wall. And that night however many guards and one of them with red beard and he is head of these guards. And he didn’t approach me and didn’t let one guard to come to me. It is strange. Because you cannot stand one hour there or one and a half hours. They will come and say move even after five minutes.

So I finished and I went to kiss the pillar the big pillar which is in back as no one will see you. Then one of the big guards the head of them, came to me and I said to myself, it is finished now. He came to me and said you want to kiss the threshold of the Prophet (s) . I said yes. He took me to the door of the Prophet (s) and I was able to kiss the threshold of the Prophet (s) and everything disappeared no guards and I was seeing nothing but the threshold of the Prophet (s). And I kissed the threshold, and then I stood up and then everything came back as normal and then he came to me and said, "give my salaams to Shaykh Nazim” that is where you saw me there. I went and left. He never knew Shaykh Nazim and Shaykh Nazim never called him and he never called Shaykh Nazim.

I left and went to a school that is called Madrasat ash-Shoonah, ash-Shoonah School that Shaykh Nazim usually goes there. And I heard footsteps running behind me. And I said, "O they are coming” and I turned and one of the guards came and he was holding a very beautiful decorated Qur’an. And he gave it to me and said, "O Hisham. This is a gift from my father for Shaykh Nazim.” I thanked him and didn’t say anything or ask him anything. That is tark al-adab - beyond good conduct - to ask a question. Tariqah is not to ask anything, “asma`oo wa awoo – listen and act on what you heard.”

So I was so into it I was as if lost. So you cannot understand it though I don’t understand it now.

But is the mind in the head or the mind is in the heart Shaykh Abdul Haqq. They asked the students this question and they said, "is the mind in the head.” And he said, " no the mind is in the heart.” Is the mind in the heart bigger or the mind in head bigger. The mind in the heart is bigger. Evidence? The mind in the head with hit can you understand the universe.

ثُمَّ ارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ الْبَصَرُ خَاسِأً وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌ

Thumma irji`il-basara karratayni yanqallib ilayk al-basar khasiyan wa huwa haseer. Again turn thy vision a second time: (thy) vision will come back to thee dull and discomfited, in a state worn out. Al-Mulk, 67:4

Look at one star. Look two times even. Look at one star even.

Yanqalib ilayk al basaru khasiyan wa huwa haseer. Your sight returns back defeated. Your eyes are defeated from one star. What do you think about 80 billion stars in our galaxy? So what do we know? Nothing. So by mind in the head we know nothing.

But by mind in our heart we know everything. What did Allah say to the Prophet (s) and the Prophet (s) said to us?

يقول الله : ما وسعني أرضي ولا سمائي ولكن وسعني قلب عبدي المؤمن

That is why Allah, the Exalted, said, “Neither heavens nor earth contained Me, but the heart of My believing servant contained Me.”

Meaning: “the believer’s heart contained My light, My attributes, the understanding of the universe.” Not the Essence.

You think awliyaullah don’t have power to pass beyond this universe. They have or they don’t have? [they have!] Evidence? The Prophet (s) went beyond this universe or not? That universe that we are not seeing even one star. The Prophet (s) passed through 80 billion stars in our galaxy and then he passed 60 billion galaxies he passed all that and even further. Beyond this universe even. He reached Qaaba qawsayni.. so adna is what? It is so less that might be one centimeter might be 1 millimeter.

So Allah said to prophets, but specially to his saints. Qul ya Muhammad (s) in kuntum tuhiboon Allah fatabi`oonee yuhbibkumullah. This is khaas understanding for them.

Do awliyaullah follow the Prophet (s) or not. We might struggle to follow but they do not. They gave up their lives for the Prophet (s). That is spiritually. That means to follow the Prophet (s) in every step. That means that if prophet went for Mi’raj you go for Mi’raj. Else you are not a wali. Wali must follow in footsteps of prophet. Does wali love Allah or n ot. Yes that is condition to be wali. That means they are following in footsteps and going in Mi’raj. That is why they can guide. They are following and learning and giving.

Look what Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu said? This is Fath ar-Rabbani. I was reading this today and I said, "I have to mention it.” I hope I still have it.

He said, "Ya Ghulam!” He calls his students who are big scholars, sitting facing them. They are sitting facing him and he is the Ghawth. He says, “Ya Ghulam!” You are a child still. You didn’t reach maturity yet. That is dangerous if we ware not mature how are we going to obey? How are we going to be responsible? Are you going to be responsible Abdul Haqq, yes or no? I am asking you. You have to understand when he says, “Ya Ghulam!” There is a secret there.

Because he is Ghawth. I never said that before, because we were going through that book in Ramadan every morning. But they are saying to throw it now. So it means you aren’t responsible. You are still the the one responsible. Awliyaullah are responsible. If you take hand of your guide he is responsible to guide you. If not he is the one responsible.

Fee katab al-`ilmi wa hifshizh bi ghayri `amal. Without doing it. That is why it is dangerous. Many, many, many scholars spend their lives in doing what. They are doctors and scholars writing presentations but they are not doing what they learned.

He said, " aysh yanf`ak. This is not literature Arabic, this is slang. They put I like that as it is important. What is it going to benefit you if you are not doing it and not practicing it. You donkey. Spirituality is practice. Even you practice one amal a day it is better than memorizing thousands of them.

And he quoted hadith of the Prophet (s) which I like to mention yaqool Allah azza wa jall bi ’l-anbiya wa ’l-`ulama, Allah says on Judgment Day to the prophets and scholars, which means the pious people, “O if you thought yourself antum kuntum ru’atu khalqee, that you are the ones authorized to be shepherds for the nations, what you have done with your sheep, with your flocks? What you showed them and what you taught them. You are responsible and you are liable.”

That is why all prophets in Judgment Day where do they run towards Sayyidina Muhammad (s). As what are they gong to answer. So if anbiya run to the Prophet (s) where is the `alim on that day. Is there any more `alim? Even Anbiya are shaking. Where are the `ulama that are sitting on chairs in dunya and giving fatwas as if they are the biggest peacocks.

Then they have to run to the Prophet (s) - not directly to Allah. If not accepting then go to hell directly.

So you see too many kings today, sitting on his chair like rooster on his chickens. We are thinking ourselves kings. We ourselves think we are kings. Ask 2 people that are similar in their understanding. Do you find. No you won find. Because each has his own opinion. So the Prophet (s) said, "If you are three, put one an amir.” If you do that now they will fight one hour to see who is amir.

That is no spirituality it is to submit. Taslimiyya.

Allah says to them antum kuntum khazaan kunuzikum you were the trustees or the containers of my treasures. Because all the treasures are in hands of kings. Hal wasaltum al-fuqara. Did you make relation his with the poor. Sayyidina `Umar (r) when he became calipha, he was crying. His wife asked him why are you crying you became calipha. He said, now I have to cry. Now anyone is hungry I am responsible. he sued to carry sacks of food on his back and distribute to the poor people.

They are kings and queens they are holding the treasures of the world. They are raising the price of oil and sucking the blood of people. Today it is 60 from 160. Who raised it and who lowered it. In order to build their Gulf nations into prostitution. Go and see there. How that happened by them raising the price as a monopoly. And the poor become poorer and rich become richer.

And that is hadith of the Prophet (s) and quoted by Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu and mentioned in Kanz al-`ummaal. Did you take care of the poor and did you take care of the aytam, orphans, how much food is sent to orphans and you find it next day in the market being sold. Wherever there are orphans and the food is sent to them like Pakistan and Kenya and.. Did you take from your money that is written on you as my right and give to poor people.

So were do we stand now. Are we ghulam now or not? We are ghulam now because we are responsible. But since we are ghulam we are not responsible. It is not me saying, it is Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu saying it. He will take responsibility for them. One wali is enough to take everyone and put in Paradise in maq`ad sidqin. Be happy. You think the Prophet (s) can be alone in Paradise he has to have people with him.

Be happy, smile! that is maqam at-tashrif. And we go back to what we were saying. When the Prophet (s) went in ascension, he saw Musa Alayhissalam and always Sayyidina Musa Alayhissalam has questions; he likes to ask questions. Musa Alayhissalam said ya rabbeee arinee anthur ilayk. It is so easy like that. Never the Prophet (s) has any question. Listen and obey. Listen to Sayyidina Jibreel. Never did he have questions.

Only one time. When he left seven heavens and he was going up he asked are you not coming with me. He asked for him to accompany as friend. He said, "I cannot.” The Prophet moved to Divine Presence alone. He was in maqam at-tawheed. Today that is all they speak about tawheed, tawheed and all Muslims are kafir. Tawheed al-iloohiyya, tawheed ar-ruboobiyya and tawheed I forgot. Is prophet going to be alone with only this group that came recently. What about the Muslims who came before they were not on tawheed.

Ya akhee. Even he said, "Ya akhee” but he said, "Ya sayyidee, Ya Rasulullah! Of course he said, ana sayyidi waladi adam wa la fakhr. He said, “Can I ask this question as this comes to my heart all the time.

You said, "`ulama ummatee ka anbiya Bani Israel.” With all respect to scholars and not these scholars but the real scholars like Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu.

You said, "They are inheritors of the Prophet (s), could it be their knowledge is like our knowledge? Inheritors are not like prophets but they have knowledge like prophets.

“Can you give me the answer ya Rasulullah how these people are going to inherit from prophets?”

He called one, through the souls, fil arwaah, as Allah said, "alastu bi rabbikum qaaloo bala. So the Prophet (s) can bring any soul he wants in past and in future. He brought one and that is one coming in future after time of the Prophet (s). He said, "That is one.”

Musa Alayhissalam said, "What is your name?” He said, "Muhammad bin Muhammad,… Ghazali. Seven times. If he were able to say it 100 times he would have said it. But he felt shy form the Prophet (s). Musa Alayhissalam said, "what is this? I thought you were an inheritor of the Prophet (s). Why did you say ‘Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ghazali’?”

If I can say Muhammad (s) until Judgment Day it will not sop. Why because as much as you say the name of the Prophet (s), Allah send angels to say salaams on you.

So he said, “Ya Musa Alayhissalam, why you object when I say ‘Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ghazali’ why didn’t you object on yourself?” He said, " why?” because when Allah asked you what is in your hand, you said, " … you gave all the classifications of the can that you are going to use in your lifetime. Why? Because that is an honorary place. Maqam at-tashrif.

He said, "That is place of honor for me to be with the Prophet (s).

So that is difference between `alim and wali. How ot imitate the Prophet (s). He is happy to say Muhammad bin Muhammad. He can say Muhammad (s) Rasulullah, I can say Muhammad (s) Sayyid ar-Rusul. I can say ...

So practice is what is important.

And I would like to add to what Mawlana Abdus Sattar said that hadith of `Umar (r), that after he mentioned maqam al-ihsan and Sayyidina Jibreel said, "sadaqta” and then Sayyidina Jibreel had other questions. And he asked, “mata` as-sa`at ya Rasulullah.” Then the Prophet (s) said, "the one asked doesn’t know more than the one who is asking.” That is humbleness that he wants to hide himself. Then give the signs of it: “An tara al-hufaat al-araat yatataawaloona fil-bunyan - To see the naked barefooted Bedouins competing in high buildings.” Now go to see the Gulf and you find them building the highest rises in the world and you find them building of one kilometer. Buildings they are building in the desert and you still find them wearing slippers, they are Bedouins. Even they go to visit the kings of Europe they wear slippers.

So that is not humiliating anyone but that is hadith of the Prophet (s).

“When you see the barefooted naked Bedouins competing in building high buildings.” Are we seeing that or not? There is no more time, O Muslims!

Allah shook the earth three weeks ago. Did you see that earthquake? Allah can make the earth to shakes when He wants to - that was the stock market crash. That day [of judgment] is coming. So don’t let it to cheat us.

Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu says in this book another place, yunaadee munadee yawm al-qiyama ayn adh-dhalamah – on the Judgment Day a caller will call out, “Where are the oppressors? Let them come!”

We are afraid to be oppressor to ourselves. Are we oppressors or not? We don’t know. Even he who doesn’t know if he is oppressor, he is struggling. If we are not oppressors to ourselves it means we don’t make sins. Then he is not oppressor. Do we make sins? Yes, say, "yes”, and ask forgiveness. That is better than saying, “no”.

Did we do hidden shirk or not? Anything related to themselves is hidden shirk.

And then it comes ayna awwaam adh-dhalama. Ayna man yara min qalaman. The oppressors used pen to judge people and send them to prison though the are innocent. Dhalama is one who will benefit from anyone, even they kill people. That is what we call mafia.

Look today mafia everywhere. Today if you don’t pay your car ticket what happens they send you to jail even. For a ticket that costs 60 or 10 you are afraid and you try not to go to jail. These CEOs that sucked billions of dollars of human being no one said I will put one of them in prison. Are they oppressors or not. All these people who benefit form stock market will be asked on Judgment Day, they made rich richer and the poor poorer. Where are the brokers. They made the rich richer. They are the commissioner. He knows them the commissioner they chat you. They buy for you gold sell gold. They come to you when gold drops, they say, "Sell quickly. Where are these one he says.

Ayna liman yara lahu qalamun. Did you find anyone in this crowd that has ink bottle?

Has anyone seen an ink bottle? Come here to witness on them.

Ajma`oohum waj`alhum fee taaboot min an-nar. Akhrajahu adh-Dhahabi and ibh Hajr.

That is from Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu. That is general meaning of dhalam. Are we dhalama or not. Break it down. Zoom it in. we find ourselves dhalama in many things. So what Allah said in Holy Qur'an? And dhalama must go to that. Not those who suck money f people. But we say we are dhalama and Allah gave a way to dhalam in the zoom-in process.

Wa maa arsalnaa min rasoolin illa liyuta`a biithni Allahi wa law annahum idh dhalamoo anfusahum jaooka faistaghfarullaha wa’staghfara lahumu ar-rasoolu la-wajadullaha tawwaaban raheeman

We sent not an apostle, but to be obeyed, in accordance with the will of Allah. If they had only, when they were unjust to themselves, come unto thee and asked Allah's forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah indeed Oft-returning, Most Merciful. An-Nisa [4:64]

Come to presence of Muhammad (s). From here you can go to the presence of Muhammad (s) and say, "Ya sayyidee, ya Rasulullah.” Allah said, "They come in your presence Ya Muhammad (s), and you ask forgiveness on their behalf.”
